[Request] Preview option [18]

I'd just like to propose you, the creator of this textboard, a meaningful idea: could you please add an option to preview your posts before posting them? In my point of view, that would be a wonderful idea as to prevent the errors that you can see in 4x13.net/txt/?1571131548#7, for example. Give it a thought, and hopefully you still care about your
phenomenal creation.

Nice double thread.

That was a server glitch, I'm afraid. At least, now I know that this place is not completely desert.

Why would you think it's completely deserted? This site got shut down a while back and was only resurrected very recently. If it was dead or abandoned, it wouldn't have been brought back.

I could very easily add it, along with Markup.

What markup would you like, if I were to add this?
BBcode? Markdown? My own "Lispmark" (a reimagining of Sexpcode)?

Else I could just add a preview button first. Glad that you like Iyagi, anon :)

A "report" button doesn't seem especially necessary but I could add that, or a "delete" button. Would you appreciate these features?

Before doing actually anything: >>5, why don't you enable yourself that capcode function? I was not born yesterday; I understand perfectly that anyone can steal your identity and pretend to be your impostor. Take it with grain of salt, though: I just want to know who I'm talking to.

> BBcode? Markdown? My own "Lispmark" (a reimagining of Sexpcode)?
BBCode would be satisfactory as long as it has the tags https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBCode states.

> Else I could just add a preview button first.
I cerebrate that you, effectively, should add that button and only then proceed to supplying everything else.

> A "report" button doesn't seem especially necessary but I could add that, or a "delete" button.
I in truth could benefit from a delete button. I second it.

Seeing as this request thread already exists and I don't want to make a new one, I'll just ask this here.
Would it be possible to increase the maximum length for thread titles? As of right now, the allowed length is very short and it makes tagging threads in the usual textboard manner difficult.

Currently the limit is 30 characters, which seems fair. What do you want?

I'd like the character limit to be roughly as large as the one on 4-ch's DQN.

That's a great suggestion, actually. Still, I'm fearing that you mentioning DQN is really a sign of an incoming low quality posts. According to me, indubitably.

You know what to expect. You know DAMN WELL the sort of "quality" this place will be having.

Spank yourself: I didn't mention 4x13 being a spiritual successor to world2ch in >>10, so who you're quoting remains an enigma to me.

Yes, I did that, but that wasn't my principal point. My central point was that you were misusing the quote function. Plus who quotes an entire post (>>#) and quotes just portions of it(> ) at the same time? Why don't you begin with a quote sign if you want to quote a portion of my post and >># to quote an integral post respectively. Don't use them at the same time. It vexes me!

A lot of people, actually.

> My central point was that you were misusing the quote function.
And here I thought your central point is that I should spank myself, you giant homofaggot. You said nothing about me abusing the quote function in >>12, only that you don't know who I'm quoting. Homofaggot. Let's meet up and fight irl.

A million flies can't be wrong, am I right?

> You said nothing about me abusing the quote function in >>12
In reality, that's half true. I thought that >>12 has an implicit meaning in that you, clearly, used "> " incorrectly because the quote function is used to primarly quote other posts and/or external links like in that news thread, for instance.

Concluding, I didn't want to start a conflictual situation with you: I just wanted to give you a recommendation on how to quote other posts properly.

Thank you for not abusing the quote function! This might motivate me to make a preview feature later when I have less on my plate.

Spank yourself, I still want that fight. Let's meet up. Tokiko can be the judge.
